Natural Bridges State Beach

Saturday was nice ... Nicole and I along with Aaron and his boys, Branden and Cole, went to the Natural Bridges State Beach Park.

The weather was great and we saw a few large orange monarch butterflies as well!

We checked out the tide pools that have plenty of life teeming within them!

After that we drove to the Lighthouse Surf museum and then on the Santa Cruz Beach Boardwalk for a walk.

A nice day.

A Strange Time ...

A Strange Time ...

Man, the weekend started good, all the way up to the end of dinner on Sunday .... my wife and I saw a play with her mom and grandma in San Jose called Tom Foolery and it was hilarious!

We had a great time at the play and at dinner afterward at The Old Spaghetti Factory right next door.

Well like a dumbass I forgot to get a parking ticket for the window of the car and during dinner we were towed!

Ouch!

That was a $255 mistake, and Nicole's Mom (Pam) and grandma (Aida) drove us home.

My friend Aaron drove me all over looking for the toward and we finally found it about 11:00!!

That was Sunday evening, Monday started good, work was good ... but my wife spilled soda (on accident!) on my laptop while she was using it, and it is toast!!

I have called HP twice and gotten disconnected so I am going to call them tomorrow and get a case set up and see if it can be fixed. If I have to send it to them I will see if they can dissassemble and clean it so it stops powering down when it gets to warm, the buildup after almost a year is probably pretty thick!

So I am typing this out on my work computer, we needed to buy Nicole her own laptop anyway so we will do that soon, and get mine fixed if possible.

Some good news: there are some great listeners on Last.fm some of my songs have a few fans!

Well we are just relaxing now and watching a classic anime Ghost in the Shell so more later!!

No really last.fm is pretty good, I just search for the tags I want to hear like electronica trance rock heavy metal and it selects songs of that type and if I don't want to hear one I just skip to the next, if I love it I select that I love it and it will play more music like the song you loved!!

Plus it's free, and you can't beat that!!

Last weekend 10/14/2006:

Last weekend my wife took me to Half Moon Bay for my birthday weekend!!

We had a fantastic time relaxing at the coast and spending some time at the Pumkin Festival which was incredibly crowded but fun!!

We also met up with our friend Aaron and his sons at the Pumkin festival and had a blast people watching and checking out all of the crafts and art!

Finally got our Volcano Vaporizer yesterday!!

Finally got our Volcano Vaporizer yesterday!!

Wow, my lungs are happier already!! They are worth every penny, if you smoke you really should take a look at them.

Nicole and I used one in Amsterdam after my throat was raw from to much hash, and it made a world of difference to the way my lungs felt.

Other then that, tonight Nicole and I are going to the San Jose Sharks game (season opener) against the Blues! We used to go to a lot of Hockey games but that strike slowed down the numkber of games we have attended since that.
