Nicole and I just got back from Amsterdam yesterday ...

We had a great time, we love Amsterdam!!

We went for 6 days for our 5 year wedding anniversary.

The weather was unseasonably warm so we walked around the whole time checking out as much as we could.

The Van Gogh and Rijksmuseum were amazing but unfortunately part of the Rijksmuseum is under construction, but they have the best stuff out on display.

Of course we stopped into many different coffeeshops to peruse the menu and try their wares!

Some of the best places we found:

Barney's coffeeshop
Popeye's coffeeshop
The Bulldog
The Pink Floyd coffeeshop

There were a lot of great ones but those were the ones that had the best atmosphere for us.

Pink Floyd's had a great Space Tea and Popeye's had a Space Chai that I couldn't get enough of but it is only available on weekends.

Of course you have to have street fries with mayo when walking around and I know that sounds gross to a lot of people but it tastes so good!!

We really had a great time and met some really nice people there, I can't wait to go back, of course the long flight is the only drawback.

Why did they stop using the Concorde?
