The Sith was GREAT!!!
If you liked any of the Star Wars films go see this, but do not bring your under 12 year old kids!! There is some violence and implied violence that kids do not need to see, but other then that the movie was great, just what the fans expected! And Jar Jar says nothing!! Sorry for the spoiler on that ... but Jar Jar was a mistake! Finally we can put this to bed ... and hopefully it will be on DVD by Christmas!! So we can sit home and run all of the movies in number order, then after that the Lord of the Rings saga! DVDs are great! Today my wife and I are relaxing and we have watched School of Rock a great comedy to laugh your ass of to, and since my wife loves soccer and we have Victory we are watching that I love the game scenes with Pele's Bicycle kick scene ... good stuff! Tonight we are watching Down by Law, from Netflix! If you haven't guessed my wife and I love movies! On another note I had the scanner out and there are weird things happening around, and I checked and today is the full moon, or it started at around 3:00 am type of thing. So everyone is flipping out ... keep it together people ... go watch a movie! tracyv

Seeing the Sith tonight ... also more good movies via Netflix!!
Seeing the Sith tonight ... also more good movies via Netflix!!
So I can finally close off that second Star Wars Trilogy, I have heard good things and the video game for the PS2 looked good! Since it is PG-13 I am expectign some violence, just not any blood! (good thing the lightsabres cortarize the wound immediatley!) I was very amazed to find out that there were idiots that were not alive when Star Wars was first in the theater in 1977 (I was 8!) waiting in line because others have done it in the past, since we have the web now and things like fandango, anyone that waited in line was an idiot, besides it is only a movie and I grew up watching these movies, playing with the toys, etc. Other movie stuff ... As far as movies go we just watched the The Weather Underground a documentary on the radical group the Weather Underground who used violence to get their points across, pretty good! We are waiting for Down by Law to arrive so we should have that on Saturday ... A great Indie film I saw back in 1996 on the Independent Film Channel back when it was new (the channel)... good stuff! Netflix is really working out well, we might need to go from 1 movie out at a time to 2 movies out so we can have one every night, we will see ... this way we get to go through the movies we already own on the nights we don't have a new one from Netflix. Have a good Friday everyone, more lata .. tracyv

Japan Today - News - Toyota president denies transfer of hybrid technology to GM - Japan's Leading International News Network
"Wednesday, May 11, 2005 at 07:33 JST This was from Yesterday, but GM was denied!! Ouch! Why would Toyota help out the failing competition anyway, when they can just let them fail and get a bigger market share when GM goes under!? HHmmm... Might want to think of selling if you have anything in GM or Ford. tracyv

Toyota undecided on sharing hybrid tech with GM
Toyota undecided on sharing hybrid tech with GM
Toyota undecided on sharing hybrid tech with GM: "Toyota undecided on sharing hybrid tech with GM Everyone is going to have a Prius style car in their lineup soon!! No one wants to pay these prices for gas, and if you have a long drive (over 35 miles each way a day .. ) then consider a hybrid! Not only do we save gas, but I drive more relaxed now, just knowing I am doing the best I can with gas mileage and the drive I have. I definately needed to relax more when driving, the traffic on 680 and 4 is so bad (the wrost traffic in the Bay Area, I move faster on 880!) that I was gettting very annoyed very quickly! Road Rage is no fun ... tracyv 8^P~~ ~ ~`

Our first Night without any Cable TV ..
Our first Night without any Cable TV ..
This is our first night without any TV, since we are trying to save money we have cut it off. They finally got around to it today and cut the service to the house, so we get nothing, nada, a blank input! We did sign up for the $9.99 a month plan with NetFlix so we can just watch movies, and listen to music (plenty of songs on the old iPod!), read, and actually get things done! Tonight we are watching The Corporation We will see ... Anyone else living without TV (Cable or Sat)? tracyv
