I am reading a book called The Prince, by Niccolo Machiavelli, and in just the first paragraph they mention that Machiavelli was considered Old Nick (even though the name "Old Nick" had existed for Satan long before!!) couple that with the age old Santa = Satan and you are on to something!

Through advertising (Marketing) it seems that people are selling their souls every year when they ask "Santa" or "Satan" for that cool item, or whatever!

DAMN!

Now you are probably asking why are you reading The Prince?

Well, apparently this is one of the play books that GHWB was forced to read by Roger Ailes!

He also worked on the Nixon Campaign, and other interesting things that brough nothing good to the US!

So why not know what the enemy is going to do next!!

If you want a little insight into Bush and Co.'s plans you might want to pick up a copy on http://www.amazon.com/ check the used area for some great prices!!

Another book I am reading that was recommended by a friend is Strategy by B. H. Lindell Hart

This book is pretty good, just dry!! The interesting thing is I just read the first section and then thismorning I was up early and watching the history channell and they have a show that uses Video Game technology ( I used to have the actual game! ) to recreate battles for us to see what it might have looked like, and the battles they talked about are the battles of Marathon and Athens!!

It did help to actually see what is being described. Good Stuff!

The lesson of those battles was indirect approach, for more check out the book Strategy I think I saw a used one up on Amazon.com for around $1.98!!!

Violence is Erupting in our Society!!

What the hell is going on, oh wait... I know!!!

Americans are now at the boiling point, tempers are flaring:

Basket-brawl

A long-standing autumn tradition turns deadly in woods of northern Wisconsin

Check your local news and you will find more and more escalating violence.

This is the type of thing that happens when our country is at war with another country for bogus reasons, and the governemtn is trying it again with Iran!!

Keep in mind that China and Russia both back Iran in their own Food for Oil programs, so we will not be attacking a small country with no allies.

Also not many new jobs are hitting the market, and with the holidays just around the corner things might get worse before they get better.

Typically around the holidays crime rates increase due to the common knowledge that most people are Christmas shopping, so more things are in vehicles and when people are not home, getting the presents is the first priority.

Road Rage is always a factor in California, but those types of crimes don't seem to be on the rise.

It mostly looks like the more and more issues that would have normally yielded a different response are reacted to with violence first.

Which is what our Government, who are leading by example, are doing when they start wars with countries that did not provoke us! (As there is no real evidence that Iraq had ANYTHING to do with 9/11! Which was perpetrated by the US government with some help to push a political agenda!)

Unfortunately, I kind of saw this coming and have been writing about this happening in some other posts.

I just try to protect myself and have a little will power, but I know on the roads my fuse is short. Which is the main reason that I try and move to the right when I am driving slower then others want to go, since they will get the ticket not me!!

The main point of this post is that I hope people (moslty us normal people that have to work to stay afloat!!) try to recognize that they need to react in a way with less consequences, even though our legal system shows us daily that you can almost get away with anything you want as long as you stay off the cell phone!!

So everyone relax, smoke a joint, listen to some music, or read a book ... it will all be better later.

What a week!

Last week was great!!

A few days before Veteran's Day my wife and I were kicking back watching TV, and a yahoo messenger window opened up and the person asked if I remeber her husband Randy from the ship I was on, and that was a friend I had not talked to in about 12-13 years!!

Randy was in Concord, CA for a work class, and Concord is on the way home for my wife and I from work!!

So we were able to get together and talk about old Navy stuff, and new stuff!

That was great!!

Randy's wife Donna found some sites that had information on the USS Waddell, which is the ship we were on back in the late 80's and early 90's a guided missile destroyer, and was able to find my information!!

The power of the internet!!

Then on Thursday we saw Nicole's dad walk in the San jose Veteran's Day Parade, as he was a Vietnam Vet.

Nicole's dad is really good at building models as a way to relax and the detail is really excellent. He is building a model of the ship the USS Waddell that I have had for a few years but never started.

Well he was having some trouble finding hte model colors and things to get it right and in this months Fine scale Modeller magazine there is a 3 page spread of the USS Waddell in 1/350th scale, from a China visit in 1989 right before I got on the ship!

Looks good too!

Amazing, huh!!

On this day that our nation pays tribute to its war dead, it is only fitting
that we examine what our young people are dying for today, and the kind of
tributes that history might reward them.

What has America become under the leadership of “Christian conservatives”
[sic] and the Republican Party?

Is it still the land of the free and the home of the brave?

Does it still welcome the Earth’s oppressed, her tired, huddled masses to its
teeming shores, if not by law at least in spirit?

Do the Democrats and Republicans still represent our nation’s two largest
constituencies—workers and management?

Do the Democrats, in the words of Gore Vidal, still bribe the masses, or have
they become like Republicans, ruling through coercion?

Are we still a nation, as we were before 1980, in which “religious” people
and clergy are worthy of being held in high esteem?

Or have we become a nation that the views of such people are dangerous
because of their suspicious political activism and morally bankrupt worldviews?

One need only compare Pat Robertson to the Rev. Martin Luther King Jr. to
consider the contrast.

We know what the Rev. King’s dream was by heart, but what
about Dr. Robertson’s?

What’s his dream?

If you're looking for one word to sum up the way the Bush-Cheney campaign stole another election Tuesday besides obvious ones like "cheated,"try this one: Diebold.

An election judge where I voted Tuesday in a heavily Democratic precinct in Maryland knows what that means and wasn't adverse to sharing his opinion of the Republican-owned company. As I was about to vote with the electronic system, I asked this judge if they had a way to check people's votes through a paper backup.


The official said no, and then in a low voice so no one else would hear, added, "And that really makes us nervous, with Diebold as the owner of that system."


Goodbye, hanging chads. Hello, computer fraud that leaves no trace, no chads hanging."

OHIO STOLEN

Greg Palast and Randi Rhodes reported today that the state of Ohio was stolen by the Republicans in election 2004. Ohio was the critical state that tipped the balance, giving the presidency to Bush.

Turns out one county in Ohio, equipped with electronic voting machines, reported NEGATIVE 25,000 votes.

Wha?!?

That’s what at least one election official in Ohio said.

The votes from that County are lost. Not counted. GONE!

Republicans in both Ohio and Florida fought for 2 years
to prevent a legal requirement for the black box machines to produce a paper ballot. Ohio finally said they would require a paper ballot, but not until 2006.

This is a great article explaining more of the voter fraud that has taken place in America.
