Finally Friday!!!
Finally Friday!!!
Whew!! It has been a long week!! Out late almost every night!
Tuesday: SJ Sharks vs. Detroit Red Wings - The Sharks resoundingly defeated the Red Wings 5-2, and it was an action packed game that ended with a squid on the ice!! Which I was told represents the 8 original teams that fought for the Stanley Cup in the playoffs, or something like that.
Wednesday: Nicole and I had dinner with Nicole's Dad Gary and Step-Mom Collette at the Outback which was great!!!
Thursday: Nicole and I had dinner with Nicole's Mother Pam and Grandmother Aida, and then we all went to The Bus Barn production of The Good-Bye Girl in Las Altos which was a great show!!! A family friend of Pam and Aida is in the show; David Curley as Elliot. All the members of the cast did an outstanding job!!
Friday: Working From Home.....so no late night, except to be up late relaxin' or watching a movie with my wife!!
Tomorrow will be a nice driving day, hopefully, to San Raphael to get our taxes done!! REFUND!!!!
We had a great time in North Lake Tahoe this weekend, the weather was the best I have ever seen at this time of year!!
We stayed at the Hyatt Regency Resort and Casino, we actually got a discount through our work so the normal room rate of $279 a night down to $79 a night!! So that couldn't be better!! They have an excellent resturant that is on the shore of Lake Tahoe, the food was unbelievable!!
We ended up driving to South Lake Tahoe and checked out the Casinos there, we also went to Reno and shopped there, after a buffet at Fitzgerald's since it is St. Patrick's Day Weekend!!!
So overall we had a great time, the weather and drive were great!!
My wife was sick this morning, which sucks because we just went out for dinner the night before for her 31st birthday!!
we did have a huge mud pie desert, so I am sure that didn't help much.
Today I drove in alone, the bug needs brakes and I can feel that the front right CV joint is going bad, I hate front wheel drive cars for maintenance.
I needed to get some new tennis shoes, so I stopped at The Great Mall in Milpitas, Ca and took a look around. I started at the Vans skatepark, and the same shoes that I bought 2 years ago for $39 were $59, and another style of Vans show that I like was $69, so I looked around at some other stores and Pac Sun had some weird shoes so I moved on....Foot locker, Atheletes Foot, and a no-name sport shoe place had mostle Nike for around $79!!
DAMN!!
They weren't even that nice, so I moved on again!!
Finally I came to the Skechers store, I found my main pair in about 30 seconds!!
After I tried those on, I stumbled across another pair, and they were on sale!!
So I got 2 pairs of mens size 12 tennis shoes for $59, guys know this is a rarity!!!
After that, I went back to work, and did some more testing, getting 2 appliances ready for upgrade testing, had a meeting to attend, then I was able to head out around 4:00, I went and picked up the flowers that MY wife's mother sent to her (she called me to get the address!!) in building 13, when my wife is in building N, about a mile away!! I have no idea how they got mis-delivered as the address is pretty clear!! So I picked up the flowers, and then just headed home!!
Near home I stopped off at Ooga Booga and got my wife a new spring outfit, for her birthday!! We are actually celebrating it this weekend in Lake Tahoe!!

The site Democracy Now has all of the articles, that are not U.S. biased, that pertain to the Haitian coup.
Because of the Internet we are all able to read the real news before the mainstream media has a chance to distort it, becasude of XML and RSS feeds, you can get news as it happens as oppossed to waiting days even weeks for the mainstream news to publish anything on the major news of the world.
Do some searches with Google for whatever you want to know more about, try the Google News tab for searching through news headlines.
As far as work ,just doing some HSE-1.8 testing of the recovery CD and Security and CLI (command line interface) stuff.
It is actually deceptivly cold outside, even though the sky is mostly blue, but as long as there is no rain for the drive home that is cool!!
