That was the assessment of panelists last week at the University of California at Berkeley's Graduate School of Journalism, who spoke about the political activism of online communities. The Web has been particularly effective in engaging politically apathetic people and motivating them to take politics back to the grass-roots level. "

Again, because of the internet, we are able to share ideas and views instantly with the world!!

I still remember how I had to literally beg my first company back in the early 90's to consider a website and give all of the technical support staff internet access, of course management resisted whole-heartedly!! Managers finally "got onboard" and they took the credit for bringing the internet to the company!!

Damn managers!!
